We are recruiting for a Bodyshop Receptionist on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing company in Oldbury. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, coupled with experience in a busy automotive environment.
About the Role:
As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in providing a seamless customer journey. You'll be managing customer interactions, explaining the repair process, and ensuring smooth coordination between the bodyshop team and clients. Key Responsibilities:
* Greet customers in person and over the phone, ensuring they understand the repair process and feel confident in the services provided.
* Coordinate vehicle bookings and returns, managing the workflow to ensure efficient bodyshop operations.
* Handle customer queries and liaise with the workshop to ensure accurate communication.
* Organise replacement vehicles when required.
* Manage administrative tasks including invoicing for parts, excess payments, and sales.
* Keep customers updated on the progress of their repairs.
* Arrange vehicle recoveries as needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
* At least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing role within the accident repair industry or a similar environment.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and bodyshop management systems.
* A solid understanding of the accident repair process and motor vehicles.
* Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a busy bodyshop.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proactive and positive attitude.
* Knowledge of BSI standards and administration would be advantageous.
