Behaviour Support Assistant
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Salary: £83.33 - £90.00 per day
Job Description
GSL Education is seeking dedicated individuals with a passion for supporting young people who face academic, behavioural, social, and emotional challenges. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work 1:1 or with small groups of students in inclusion units, Alternative Provisions, and SEN Schools across Lincoln.
Support the school in its mission, aligning with its aims and ethos.
Assist children participating in activity groups, particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Help implement 1:1 behavioural intervention programs for students with Autism, developmental delays, or other Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Observe, engage with, and document student behaviour.
Follow lesson plans and lead assigned activities.
Maintain a high standard of educational support.
Conduct yourself professionally at all times.

Requirements:
A Child-Only DBS registered on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
Relevant experience working with children or young people.
A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful candidates must pass all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
