Smart10 Recruitment are currently looking for a Production Operative to join our client in St Albans at their state of the are Warehouse 

Job Title: Production Operative 
Salary: £24,500 - £26,000
Location: St Albans 
Permanent Fulltime Position 
Working Hours: 08:00 - 16:30 Monday - Friday 
Responsibilities and Duties - 

Operate machinery and production lines to manufacture products 
Monitor production processes to ensure optimal efficiency and quality 
Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment 
Inspect and test materials, components, and finish products to ensure they meet quality standards 
Assist in loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods 
Pack products, ensuring they are properly labelled and ready for shipment 
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations 
Report any issues, malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors 
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets 
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions 
Adhere to quality control procedures and maintain high levels of product quality 
Document production data, including quantities produced, downtime and material usage 
Follow all health and safety guidelines, using protective equipment as required 
Skills Required - 

Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is desirable 
Basic understanding of machinery and production process 
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and still maintain good attention to detail 
Strong communication and teamwork 
Good understanding of health and safety practices 
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends if required 
Ability to lift and carry materials as needed 
Basic numeracy and literacy skills for record keeping and reporting 
Desirable - 

Forklift certification or similar industrial machinery experience 
Personal Attributes - 

Proactive and adaptable 
Able to work well under pressure, within and team or alone 
Strong work ethic 
Good problem-solving skills
