What You’ll Be Doing:
Providing expert 3rd Line support, handling escalations from the service desk and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
Identifying root causes of IT problems and implementing effective solutions.
Working closely with clients, offering high-quality support both remotely and on-site.
Assisting with IT project delivery, ensuring solutions are implemented efficiently and securely.
Collaborating with senior engineers and project teams on IT transformation initiatives.
Managing and maintaining cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including backups, security, and performance optimisation.
Escalating issues to third-party vendors when necessary and liaising with their support teams.
Producing high-quality technical documentation and sharing knowledge with colleagues to enhance team expertise.
Maintaining the security of internal and client information systems, following best practices and compliance guidelines.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
Strong experience with Windows Server (2016+), Microsoft 365 (Modern Workplace), Azure AD, Intune, and Autopilot.
Proficiency in networking (LAN, WAN, firewalls, wireless networks), including troubleshooting and configuration.
Experience with virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
Knowledge of ITIL best practices and cybersecurity fundamentals.
Understanding of cloud migration strategies and hybrid cloud environments.
Experience working in a managed services environment is desirable.
Ability to diagnose and resolve performance, connectivity, and security issues efficiently.
Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate technical solutions clearly.
A proactive approach with a strong focus on customer service and problem-solving.
