Our client, a leading aerospace company, is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician to join their team in Gosport, Hampshire. The company specialises in developing and manufacturing an extensive range of LED-based aircraft external lighting products. This permanent role requires you to work 37 hours per week over a four-day period, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical and mechanical assembly tasks
Engage in wiring, soldering, and crimping activities
Utilise sealants, adhesives, and potting compounds
Maintain job cards and ensure material traceability during build activities

Job Requirements:

Experience in building electrical and mechanical assemblies, ideally within the aviation industry
Ability to read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Competence in wiring, soldering, and crimping
Basic understanding of electronic circuits and wiring standards
Strong attention to detail
Preferably IPC Certified to J-STD-001
