* Upholding rigorous HSE standards, promoting a safe working environment, and addressing potential hazards proactively.

* Ensuring all works comply with environmental guidelines specific to flood defence schemes, such as watercourse protection and biodiversity conservation.

*

Coordination and Communication:

* Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure smooth workflows and timely delivery of project milestones.

* Coordinating with stakeholders, including local authorities and environmental agencies, as required.

*

Progress Monitoring and Reporting:

* Preparing daily and weekly progress reports, identifying potential delays, and proposing mitigation strategies.

* Managing as-built records and ensuring these are kept up-to-date for project handover.

Essential Requirements:

* A proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally within flood defence, marine, or waterworks environments.

* Proficient in surveying equipment and software such as Leica, Trimble, or similar.

* Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including RC structures, earthworks, and temporary works.

* Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance, with relevant training or certification (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS).

* Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

* Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering (e.g., HNC/HND, BSc).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled Site Engineer to take ownership of a technically challenging project while contributing to vital infrastructure improvements. If you have the experience and expertise to excel in this role, we would love to hear from you
