Management Accountant – Potential Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Salary circa £50,000 - £55,000 DOE

Are you an experienced Qualified Management Accountant ready for an impactful role in a thriving business? Due to a recent team restructure, our client urgently needs a capable and qualified individual to join their finance team on a potential temporary-to-permanent basis. They’re looking for someone who can start immediately but are open to waiting for the perfect candidate.

About You:

Qualifications: ACCA or CIMA qualified with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE)

Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills are essential, and Power BI experience is highly advantageous

Experience: Hands-on accountant with a keen eye for detail; previous experience in the construction industry would be a significant advantage

Your Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly Management Accounts and G/L trial balance for review

Complete monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations for management approval

Maintain the general ledger, including posting journals, and updating prepayments, accruals, CoS, and deferred income schedules

Manage Sales, WIP, Invoicing, Credit Control, and Revenue Recognition, ensuring data integrity and accurate customer billing

Prepare Management Information & Analysis and support budget and cost analysis

Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and manage depreciation

Support VAT and Tax returns

Resolve customer and vendor queries promptly

Assist with annual and local audits, as well as statutory accounts

Take on additional tasks as assigned by management
