CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Microbiologist, to join a company developing, manufacturing and supplying products and services for the food and drinks industry, at their site based in Surrey on a permanent basis.

Location:

The site is based in Surrey and is commutable from Leatherhead, Westcott, Cheam, Woking, Redhill, Chessington and surrounding areas.

Your duties and responsibilities will involve:

Oversee the planning and coordination of yeast slope production to meet client orders on time.
Facilitate and guide microbiologists and technicians to achieve production targets.
Develop new methods and improvements within the laboratory to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Ensure yeast products comply with all customer, company, and legal requirements.
Manage and schedule staffing within the yeast team to ensure efficient operation.
Your Background:

Proven experience in yeast production or microbiology, with a strong background in laboratory work.
Leadership experience, particularly in managing teams and coordinating across departments.
Strong understanding of HACCP principles and quality management systems.
Experience with DNA fingerprinting and yeast strain analysis is preferred.
