A developer of tailor-made electric vehicle drivetrain systems, incorporating its world-leading, proprietary technology is currently looking for a Mechanical Build Technician. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in research and development and in the bespoke conversion of classic vehicles to electric drive.
The Mechanical Build Technician will:
* Build client vehicles through to handover.
* Collaborate with engineering on build specifications and design.
* Maintain accurate build records.
* Identify areas for operational improvements, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
* Ensure team compliance with quality assurance processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
The Mechanical Build Technician will have:
* Experience with metal fabrication, including sheet metal, welding, and machining.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Impeccable attention to detail.
* Experience with reading and understanding engineering drawings.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
* Familiarity with business tools such as Asana, Jira, etc.
