Job Title: CNC Programmer (Powermill/Visi Hexagon)

Location: Birmingham

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in programming CNC machines using Powermill or Visi Hexagon software, with a proven ability to work to tight tolerances and deliver high-quality components.

In this role, you will work closely with engineers, machinists, and other team members to develop and implement CNC programs for a variety of complex parts. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the programs are optimised for efficiency, accuracy, and machine safety.

Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, with solid expertise in using Powermill or Visi Hexagon software.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CNC programming principles, G-code, and tool path generation.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure that all programs meet quality and tolerances.
Problem-Solving: Good troubleshooting skills with the ability to find solutions to programming or machine-related issues.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, machinists, and other team members.
Educational Background: A relevant qualification in CNC programming, mechanical engineering, or a related field is desirable.
