We are recruiting on behalf of a leading company, committed to delivering exceptional service and quality to their valued customers. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Engineer to join their team to help maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
 
Key Responsibilities of the Workshop Engineer role:

Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of plant machinery, including excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
Conduct thorough inspections and testing to ensure machinery is operating efficiently and safely.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
Accurately document all work carried out, including parts used, repairs completed, and any additional observations.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
 
The ideal Workshop Engineer candidate will have the following:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the plant machinery or heavy equipment industry.
Full UK driving licence
Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical skills. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
It will be an advantage is you hold a relevant engineering qualification e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
Ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery issues efficiently.
Strong focus on delivering high-quality work with attention to detail.
