A multi-discipline practice in North London is looking to grow their team with the addition of a building surveyor. We are looking for a well-rounded surveyor who has strong party wall experience.
 
My client is a boutique organisation who provides accurate construction advice across the public housing, commercial and retail sectors. Due to the increase in workload the building consultancy team is looking to add an experienced Building Surveyor to the department.
 
You the successful Building Surveyor will predominantly undertake Party Wall projects under the Party Wall Act 1996 across North London and Hertfordshire. You will work in collaboration with various departments providing building surveying services including identifying building defects and undertaking condition reports.
 
Responsibilities

Providing Party Wall advice under the Party Wall Act 1996
Schedules of condition/inspections
Building defects
Contract administration
Project management 
Building Surveyor

BSc in Building Surveying
Ideally MRICS or working towards this accreditation
Member of Faculty of Party Wall
Strong technical knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skill
Full UK driver’s licence
