Role – Engineering assistant positions
Location – Histon, Cambridge
Working hours – Monday to Sunday 5/7 days - 7am – 5pm, overtime will be offered as and when required
Rate of pay – Up to £21.50 per hour depending on experience.
Capacity of role – Temporary assignment for a 2 week duration

Our client is an engineering business who is looking to expand their team with engineering assistants to be part of a site shutdown.
Candidates will need to be familiar with using hand and power tools and will be happy to work in a multi skilled position. This role is to start on the 12Th April, so candidates must be free to start on this date

Main duties will include –
 Assisting the engineers in the maintenance of site equipment
 Using hand and power tools to complete finished tasks
 Helping the engineers with a variety of tasks
 Ensuring all health and safety policies and procedures are upheld and adhered to
 Working as part of a team to fulfil required and allocated duties
 To communicate any problems to management onsite
 Fitting duties alongside the engineers

Candidate attributes –
 Experience working in a multi skilled role
 Previous experience within an engineering based environment.
 Working knowledge using hand and power tools
 Basic engineering knowledge to ensure duties are fulfilled smoothly and to a high standard
 Strong communication skills
 Ability to work independently and part of a team
 Happy to work overtime as and when the client requires
 Own transport is required due to the location of the premises
