Job Title: Construction Plant Fitter
Area Coverage: Hampshire/Dorset #
Salary: £40k to £45k
Employment Type: Permanent
 
On behalf of a leading Hampshire-based Groundworks Firm, ITS are currently seeking an experienced Construction Plant Fitter to join their team team and play a key role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing a range of plant equipment used across our construction projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on construction plant and machinery
Diagnose faults and conduct mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs
Conduct inspections and ensure all equipment complies with safety regulations
Respond to on-site breakdowns and carry out effective repairs
Maintain service records and work reports accurately
Work closely with site teams to ensure minimal downtime on equipment Requirements:

Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or similar role within construction or heavy equipment industries
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrics
NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering (desirable)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer:
