Construction Manager – Civils

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee civil engineering works for a main contractor on a 6-month contract in Northampton.

Responsibilities:

* Manage and coordinate on-site civil engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and deadlines.

* Oversee subcontractors, site teams, and labour to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality delivery.

* Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly followed, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.

* Liaise with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.

* Manage project resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to optimise efficiency and control costs.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including CDM requirements.

* Maintain accurate site documentation, including reports, permits, and method statements.

* Identify and resolve any technical or logistical issues that may arise during the project.

Requirements:

* CSCS Card (White, Black, or Gold)

* SMSTS

* First Aid

* Asbestos Awareness

* Must have own vehicle
