In House Technician with prospect to become a Field Service Engineer

We are looking for an In-House Technician local to Olney, Bucks, MK46 5EA to join our company to work on Scientific Instruments to include HPLC, LCMS, GC, GCMS, Spectrophotometers & Microplate Products.

Requirements for In-House Technician - Not all needed to be considered for the role.

* Previous experience in service and carrying out workshop day to day duties.

* Good understanding of Electro-Mechanical/Electronics.

* Knowledgeable in Computer & Software use.

* Worked within the Scientific Industry albeit laboratory or service based.

* HPLC, LCMS, GC, GCMS, Spectrophotometer & Microplate previous experience.

Key role and responsibilities for In-House Technician

* Workshop duties to include servicing, calibrating & repairing scientific instruments.

* Parts and Stock related duties to include maintaining service kits and preparing for customer routine maintenance visits.

* Perform and complete daily duties as expected for an In-House Technician role.

* Perform all in-house work as expected by the customer and on behalf of the company.

* Work and communicate with the office providing regular updates of progress.

* Generation & completion of weekly time sheets and expenses.
