Creating Project Plans
Looking at the risks involved in a particular project and managing these risks
Support the Systems Manager and Service Manager to monitor the progress of work and ensure the development, design, constructing and testing of projects is carried out to our standards and all requirements are met.
Ensure that technical standards are met and maintained in all aspects of project work, for safe and successful project implementation and future reliability.
Motivating the team of people involved in the project
Participate in and monitor the planning and progress of all project work.
Maintain a continuous communication with customers and colleagues to ensure targets are being met and there is consistency in work.
Review and assess the engineering aspects of projects and timelines.
Dealing with changes to the project as and when necessary documenting and reporting.
Keep control of budgets and milestone payments within projects.
Making sure the project delivers the expected outcomes and benefits.
Project Manager – The Person:

Excellent communication skills, understanding project timescales and people management.
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to drive team performance.
Experience of undertaking large projects, with a proven record of success.
Delegation of tasks to the engineers involved in the projects.
Proven Project Management Experience

This role is based in the Glasgow area easily commutable from East Kilbride, Hamilton, Paisley, Livingston and Cumbernauld.
