Finance Assistant
Monday to Friday 08.00 - 17.00
£35,000 - £40,000 DOE
Duties to include, but not limited to
Duties:
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets,income statements, management accounts
Raise, receive and monitor purchase orders
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Assist with payroll processing
Support the organisation in day-to-day operations
Qualifications:
You may be AAT qualified or studying at level 3 OR have developed your career entirely through experience
Proficient in Microsoft and other financial software applications
Experience:
Ideally AAT qualified, will consider a strong qualified by experience candidate
Must have excellent bookkeeping skills, minimum two years of bookkeeping experience
All round general accounts experience required
Detailed understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger, banking, income , overhead and capital expenditure.

Ability to work independently and laise with other operational departments
Strong organisation skills and the ability to take ownership of the role
Professional and personable
Excellent IT stills, confident in using Microsoft Excel/Word
