Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a number of Trainee Setters for our client, a well-established manufacturer based in Denby near Ripley. This is a great opportunity for applicants in a Production/Manufacturing background wanting to train as a Setter.

Trainee Setter Hours:

Static Nights 6pm - 6am on a 4 on 4 off rotationTrainee Setter Pay:

Nights rate: £13.41 per hour plus £20.12 per hour for overtime
The job roles and responsibilities of the Production Operative include:

Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
Quality inspection
Heavy lifting/pulling/pushing up to 25KG
Packing and wrapping UPVC profiles
Labelling profiles
Loading profiles
General warehouse duties
Training to run the machinery, including feeding in, slitting and packing.Key skills Required:

Ability to problem solve
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Good communication and listening skills
Good attention to detail
Ability to self-motivate
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a teamKnowledge Required:

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially the uPVC industry would be beneficial but not essential
Requires an understanding of the entire production process Experience
