An exciting position has opened up in Norwich, for an experienced Manual CNC Machinist. This is a great chance for someone with a passion for precision engineering to take the next step in their career.

Working a four and a half day working week (no shifts), my client is looking for a candidate to hit the ground running and the successful candidate must possess a range of skills and experience, including:

Experience working as a manual machinist (mostly vertical turning)
Expertise in the use of CNC machining equipment.
A strong understanding of engineering principles.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professionalism and excellent communication skills. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to manufacture parts for a range of precision engineering projects. You will be required to read and interpret technical drawings and use your knowledge of engineering principles to ensure the accuracy of the parts produced. You will be expected to work as part of a team and be able to work independently when required.
