Permanent Financial Controller

Pinpoint Resourcing are currently working with a growing Manufacturing and Retail business to source a permanent Financial Controller to work alongside the MD to set up a robust finance function.

Duties:

* Complete monthly management accounts in accordance with an agreed timetable.

* Provide reliable, accurate financial information to key internal and external stakeholders.

* Business planning, budgeting & forecasting.

* Prepare and own the monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

* Oversee the maintenance of the fixed asset register.

* Daily cash controls and weekly cash management, reconciliation and forecasting.

* Review of current financial systems, processes and controls and implement efficiencies.

* Oversee preparation and submission of VAT, PAYE/NICetc.

* Oversee the preparation of the year end statutory accounts.

* Liaison with auditors and tax advisors.

Requirements:

* Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent

* 2-3 years experience working in a similar position

* Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Sumifs, etc)

Salary + other information:

* £60,000 to £70,000 DOE

* Based in Islington

* Hybrid working arrangement
