About Us

As a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), they work with students who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream schools due to challenging behavior. Following the national curriculum, they focus on rebuilding confidence, developing skills, and helping pupils unlock their potential in an inclusive, supportive setting.

Your Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support learning: Help students access the curriculum, overcoming barriers to learning with patience and creativity.
Promote growth: Build strong relationships, fostering resilience, self-esteem, and positive social skills.
Collaborate effectively: Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to create individual support plans.
Stay adaptable: Respond dynamically to behavioural challenges with empathy and understanding.
