SEN Teaching Assistant needed at Primary school in Old Trafford, Manchester.

We are seeking a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic mainstream primary school in Old Trafford, catering to pupils aged 3–11. This role offers the chance to become a pivotal person within the school supporting young people with additional needs and helping to improve whole school outcomes while making a real difference to the childrens' development and life chances.

Role:

SEN Teaching Assistant at a high performing yet supportive and welcoming primary school in Old Trafford.

* Start date: ASAP.

* Contract: Long-term, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–3:30 pm.

* Pay: £90–105/day DOE for first 12 weeks.

* Paid PAYE directly through Now Education, we don't use umbrella companies!

* Equal pay to perm staff in same role from 13th week onwards.

Responsibilities:

* Provide individualized support to students aged 3-11 across the school with SEN including Autism, Social & Emotional and Learning Needs.

* Assist in implementing tailored learning plans for each child.

* Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages pupil confidence and indepence.

* Collaborate with teachers, school leadership & parents to create a holistic approach to your children's care & education.

* Support students in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and coping strategies.

Requirements:

* An up to date CV with full education & work history.

* Right to Work and Proof of Address in the UK.

* A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one).

* Minimum of 2 professional references.

* Experience working with primary aged children.

* A proactive, hard working, collaborative & empathetic approach is a must!
