Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client in Huddersfield West Yorkshire for an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to provide exceptional customer service to ensure that customers receive their orders on the dates expected.

The Person:

* GCSE Maths and English Grade 4(C) or above.

* Excellent professional communication skills are essential to liaise with internal and external customers.

* Strong administration skills.

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Highly numerate.

* Experience in using Microsoft Office Applications.

* Knowledge of D365 advantageous but not essential.

The Role:

* Process sales orders in a timely and accurate manner.

* Acknowledge orders back to the customer, advising them of any quantity changes, changes to delivery dates, etc.

* Amend orders already placed, ensuring that production and transport are kept informed of any changes.

* Advise customers of any shortages on deliveries and advising when deliver to them can be made.

* Book in deliveries, Sending copies of delivery notes, ensuring they are signed and returned.

* Maintain the complaints and returns database and raising returns notes.

* Raise credit notes and sundry invoices.

* Scan PODs onto the invoice system, checking that all PODs are signed and returned and chasing up any that have not been.

* Check hauliers’ invoices, ensuring all PODs for the delivery have been returned and that the prices are correct prior to authorising them for payment.

* Action the daily invoice/billing run, adding collection allowances or freight recovery charges to some orders prior to being invoiced.

* Raise pro-forma invoices.

* Arrange transport for packaging customers.

* Create new product codes and prices and adding these to the customer files.

* Maintain and create load calculators for some customers that we can only deliver to in full loads.

* Update customer information via their on-line systems/portals.

This role is working a Monday to Friday days - Standard Office hours.

The salary is £25,000pa.
