HGV Driver

Location: Exeter & Bridgwater

Pay Rate: £15 per hour

Contract Length: 2 months

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Driver to join our team. The role involves driving a 7.5t vehicle to distribute construction materials between the site compound and work areas in Bridgwater, with the vehicle being returned to the Exeter depot each weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely operate a 7.5t vehicle to deliver construction materials between the site compound and work areas in Bridgwater.

* Ensure the vehicle is maintained and properly checked before and after each journey.

* Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.

* Transport goods in a timely and efficient manner.

* Return the vehicle to the Exeter depot at the end of each week.

* Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including relevant paperwork and timesheets.

* Ensure compliance with traffic laws and regulations.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

* CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).

* Full clean driving licence.

* Relevant category to drive a 7.5t vehicle.

* Up-to-date Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).

* Good knowledge of road safety regulations and the ability to drive safely in various weather and traffic conditions.

* Ability to work efficiently and independently
