Cogent Staffing are recruiting for Warehouse Operative/Pickers for our established automotive distribution client based in Patchways BS34.

This is a temporary to permanent role, with successful candidates taken on as a permanent member of staff after a period of 12 qualifying weeks.

Shifts & salary:

* Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17.30

* Alternate Saturdays 8am - 12

* £11.70 per hour

* 1 hour unpaid break per shift

* Average 42.5 hours per week

* Ongoing work with potential for a permanent role after 12 full weeks qualifying period

To start as soon as possible.

Role details:

* Loading vehicle

* Delivery driving standard transit van sized vehicle

* At times, if returning to the warehouse early there may be time you can work in the warehouse to make up hours (see below)

* Generating pick sheets

* Picking order loads from sheets

* Carrying out warehouse operations, packing orders, processing goods

* Using hand held scanners to pick orders

* Manual handling and heavy lifting

The candidate:

* No more than 6 points on driving licence

* Delivery driving experience

* Has previous warehouse experience

* Must be capable of lifting up to 30kg

* Can start ASAP
