Online Channel Manager / Digital Marketing – Hybrid
A full-time permanent opportunity has arisen to work for a thriving business in Alton. The business has grown extensively over the years and holds an impressive global presence. Reporting into the Director of Sales, success in this role requires an ambitious, results driven and digitally minded individual whose primary role is to grow and enhance their online presence and service a portfolio of key e-tailers, increasing the digital mix of business in line with overall organisational objectives. They will be capable of providing valuable knowledge and expertise of best practice tactics with the ability to build a best-in-class customer proposition to ensure maximised sales and revenue opportunities.
Experience of working within a similar eCommerce role and/or digital landscape.
An excellent communicator and influencer who can converse easily with others, including remote teams.
Commerically astute, ambitious, data savvy with strong sales analysis and reporting experience paired with solid financial and budgeting skills.
B2C retail and website management experience is essential.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skills is crucial.
Solid knowledge of PPC, SEO, AdWords, Google Analytics and overall Google brand development.
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and under tight timeframes
Support online clients’ web developers / tech personnel
Analysing website data to help strengthen the listing portfolio
Increase organic search traffic to the product pages
Using insights such as user engagement, site performance and conversion rates to fulfil users’ search needs
Suggesting improvements to the website’s design, user experience, or functionality to positively impact sales potential
Develop and implement data models, databases, data collection systems, and other strategies to optimise efficiency and accuracy of data analysis
Identify products that are performing well or poorly, understanding customer buying patterns, and analysing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to help attract new customers to the brand
Assist the Director of Sales with maximising sales for all key trade activities such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, holiday promotions, new product launches and any other fundamental business campaigns using various channels of communication and carefully selected mediums, conducting all follow up activities
Develop a strong understanding of the business and the markets in which they operate, keeping up to date with trends and consumer needs so the business remains successful and competitive
Relentlessly identify new and innovative ways to drive growth to key e-tailers websites, whilst protecting the brand online
Create visualisations and reports to effectively communicate findings to Senior Management
Ensure all data is accurate and consistent when processing it for analysis
Removing any inaccuracies, duplications, or inconsistencies in the data sets
Assist with the uploading of new products, imagery, and inputting of product information alongside system and process updates
Participate in other projects and duties in relation to pre and post sales activities
Provide back up to the Sales Office Administrators as and when required, such as assisting with sales calls and the processing of orders
Carry out any other duties which fall within reasonable expectations of the role as directed by the Director of Sales UK & Ireland
Salary 40k
OTE 50K – Open ended
Hybrid 3 days in office and 2 days WFH
Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm (40 Hours – Paid)
29 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays (pro rata to start date)
Statutory pension scheme enrolment upon successful completion of probationary period
