Our client in Hitchin is looking for experienced and dedicated Sous Chef to join it’s established and respected Home. Specialising in Elderly and Dementia - The home accommodates 50 residents and promotes independence and comfort to the highest degree.

Role Details

* Job Title: Sous Chef

* Salary: £12.86 per hour

* 32.5 hours per week

* 3 shifts x 7 hours (phone number removed)

* 1 shift x 11.5 hours (phone number removed)

* 20 minute paid break during

* To work alternate weekends

Essential Requirements for role:

* NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care

* Valid right to work in the UK

* Car owner and valid drivers license

Preferred Requirements for role:

* Care owner with valid drivers’ licence

* Experience managing a team

* Ability to work under pressure

* Excellent people skills

* A caring and nurturing attitude

* Positive and enthusiastic outlook

* Good time management skills

* Good written and oral communication skills

* Prepared to take on extra training as required
