Part-Time Outreach PDA Support Assistant

Location: Oxted
Hours: Monday and Tuesdays, 9:15 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay: £100 to £110 per day

Are you passionate about making a difference in a young person’s life? We are seeking a dedicated Outreach PDA Support Assistant to support a 10-year-old student with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).

This role is based in the pupil’s home and offers a unique opportunity to provide one-on-one, tailored educational support in a nurturing environment. There will also be a dedicated carer that you will be working alongside so you would not be on your own.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the student in learning through play-based activities.
Foster engagement in areas of interest, such as gaming, cooking, and Maths.
Create a positive, flexible, and low demand learning atmosphere.
Build a strong and trusting relationship to encourage the student's development.
About You:

Patient, empathetic, and adaptable.
Experience with PDA or additional needs (preferred but not essential).
Passionate about working with children and supporting their unique learning journeys.
Open to training and eager to develop relevant skills.
