SEN Teaching Assistant (PMLD & Autism)

We are currently seeking dedicated and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistants with experience of PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and Autism.

We have fantastic opportunities for PMLD LSAs / Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties Support Assistants in brilliant and supportive SEN schools that cater for children with different levels of learning difficulties. The ideal LSA / Learning Support Assistant will have a caring nature and will be passionate about providing outstanding care and support to children of mixed abilities.

The role will involve:

Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
1-1 support with students who require additional help
Leading group work
Assisting the class teacher with pupil observations
Helping with personal careThe schools are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, flexible, and ready to join a dedicated team. All applicants must have a minimum of 6 months experience working with children with special educational needs / disabilities. Experience with personal care is also essential.
