Panel Beater

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

Pay Rate: £17.58 p/h PAYE, £20.39 p/h Umbrella

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (40 hours a week)

Employment Type: Long-term, Ongoing work

We are looking for experienced Panel Beaters to join our client’s team in Corby. Within this role, you will be working as a part of an experienced bodyshop team, ensuring vehicles are finished to the highest standard for customers, under the support and guidance of the supervisor and bodyshop manager.

The Role:

* Strip and fit vehicle panels.

* Carry out repairs to restore vehicles to their original condition using approved methods.

* Perform dent removal using tools such as pin pullers, slide hammers, miracle pullers, jigs, and panel beating hammers.

* Complete both minor and major filler work on panels.

* Assist other departments within the bodyshop when required.

* Train and support bodyshop trainees.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working within an automotive bodyshop as a Bodyshop Technician / Panel Beater.

* Full UK Driving Licence.

* Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle repair methods.

* Ability to demonstrate experience and expertise in all aspects of vehicle repairs.

* Must have your own tools, such as hammers and blocks.

* Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards.
