We are working with a client in Kent who are seeking to recruit a Neighbourhood Caretaker to join there Neighbourhood Housing Team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring that residents live in a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. You will collaborate with various departments within the Housing Association, as well as external stakeholders and partners, to uphold high standards of estate management.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing excellent gardening and grounds maintenance services to keep communal areas clean and free from rubbish.
Conducting regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and security across the estate.
Ensuring compliance with fire safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
Liaising with residents, colleagues, and external partners to address any maintenance concerns effectively.
Working both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality services to the community.
About You
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual with experience in grounds maintenance and neighbourhood services. The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience in grounds maintenance, caretaking, or estate services.
Be able to communicate and engage effectively with residents, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Work well within a team but also have the ability to take initiative and work independently.
Demonstrate a commitment to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfaction.

Additional Information
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Monday - Thursday: 8:45 am - 5:15 pm
Friday: 8:45 am - 4:45 pm
There may be a requirement to work outside of these core hours in the event of urgent issues on the estate.
A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.
This role is subject to a basic DBS check.
