The Opportunity
A high growth Cyber consultancy is looking to attract Lead Developer who will head a great engineering team to deliver high-quality products. You’ll join a team of engineers and product managers who work across multiple locations, delivering world class security software to their global client base.
You will be passionate about delivering high quality code that is founded on good design principles, craftsmanship and test and driven development. As part of your role as Lead Developer, you will mentor and guide the team, helping them to hit sprint goals and influence the design and direction of the products.

The Role:
• Manage the team through the design, development and testing release phases of the software.
• Plan product development milestones and timelines.
• Select new technologies that will help deliver the business goals.
• Work across the company to ensure the product meets business needs.
• Mentoring and leadership of the team.
The Person
• Strong Java skills.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time.
• Experience of the entire software development lifecycle.
• Experience with cloud native technologies.
• Hands on experience of leading and growing a team.
• Project management experience or qualification.
• Experience of pair programming and reviewing code.
