Teaching Assistant | Camden, NW1 | £90-£110 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term to Permanent | January 2025

About the Role:
LTF Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in Camden, NW1. This role involves working within a Year 2 class, providing both one-to-one support for a pupil with SEN and general classroom assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 support for a child with special educational needs, helping them engage with the curriculum and manage their daily activities.
Assist the class teacher with delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom activities.
Lead small group interventions to support students' learning and development.
Create a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages positive behaviour and participation.
Monitor and record progress, sharing feedback with the teacher and SENCo as required.
Support the smooth running of the classroom, including preparing resources and supervising activities.Requirements:

Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly those with SEN.
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A passion for education and a commitment to fostering children's learning and well-being.
