We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Finance Assistant for a client of ours based in Hastings. In this role, you will assist with various financial tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of accounting processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of the company’s financial operations.
About the role:
Process and maintain records of invoices, payments, and receipts. Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
Input financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets
Perform ad-hoc finance tasks and administrative duties as needed to support the finance team.
Aid in the preparation of budgets and track ongoing financial performance against budgets.
About You:
Good understanding of financial principles and practices.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is required.
