Contek Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Heating and Renewables Project Planner/Engineer for our client based in Accrington, Lancashire.

Our client is a market leading company at the forefront of the domestic retrofit market, and we specialise in providing energy efficient home improvements based out of their offices in Accrington.

They are actively seeking a Heating and Renewables Project Planner/Engineer who will play a vital role in supporting their business growth. This is a newly created role within the company as they expand their business offering.

The ideal candidate will be used to working within the ECO industry and have experience on installations.

Job Description/Responsibilities of the Role:

• To manage, oversee and ensure all electrical installations, including ESH, ASHP and Solar PV Systems are completed in time and on budget.

• To carry out the necessary calculations for ESH, ASHP and Solar PV System installations. • Oversee the completion of the ventilation upgrades.

• To carry out electrical installations on site as and when required.

• Act as the main point of contact for all electrical installation projects and maintain regular contact with external providers.

• Working with engineers to ensure that the works are planned, organised, and carried out efficiently and effectively.

• Oversee the logistics, including staff resources and materials of all projects. • To carry out site inspections.

• Complete works in accordance with specification and safety regulations.

• Completion of all relevant paperwork for submissions.

• Ensure customer satisfaction and safety.

• Work to operational procedures within ECO.

Qualifications/Essential Requirements:

• Experience of Electrical Installations, including ESH, ASHP and Solar PV Systems – 10 years.

• Working knowledge of ESH, ASHP and Solar PV System design software.

• Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installations.

• 18th edition qualified.

• 2391/2394/2395 qualified - Testing qualifications.

• Part P Compliant.

• CPS Scheme Registration – NICEIC, NAPIT.

• Have strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and multitask.

• A full UK driver’s licence is essential.

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• A basic DBS check is required for this role.

• Ability to manage own time and workload.

• An organised, safe approach to work.

• Can work under pressure and at pace.

• Experience of working with the public, demonstrating excellent customer service.

• Flexibility and willing to travel.
