Java Software Engineer | Salary circa £50k | Hybrid / Stoke

Langham are representing an opportunity for a Java Software Engineer to join a financial services company. The role will be hybrid with monthly visits to our client’s office in Stoke-on-Trent.

You will be responsible for developing high-quality applications in Java and designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

Role/Responsibilities:
• Develop quality mobile and web applications
• Analyse and maintain existing software applications
• Design highly scalable, testable code
• Discover and fix programming bugs

Skills/Qualifications:
• Minimum 3-4 years’ commercial experience in software development
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Java programming languages
• SQL database or relational database skills
• Frontend development experience is desirable
