Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer (Remote)

Salary: £44,000-£50,000

Location: Remote (UK-based)

Role Overview:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining deployment pipelines, ensuring the systems are robust, scalable, and secure. This is a perfect opportunity for a skilled professional with a background in software engineering and a keen interest in transitioning to DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Pulumi.
Write and maintain scripts in Python and PowerShell to automate tasks.
Configure and manage cloud services in Microsoft Azure.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
Create and manage configuration files using YAML.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise system reliability and performance.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Pulumi and Terraform.
Strong scripting skills in Python and PowerShell.
Experience with YAML for configuration management.
Familiarity with CI/CD principles and practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Desirable:

Previous experience in a DevOps or Software Engineering role.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Certification in relevant cloud and DevOps technologies (e.g., Azure Certifications).
