Customer Support Engineering Manager
Salary is in the region of £65K + bonus + company vehicle + other benefits. (Salary is dependant on experience, skill level etc).

About the Role:
Are you experienced in leading a team of Service Engineers and managing a Technical Support Help Desk?
Are you interesting in joining a Midlands based engineering company that is recognised for excellence in the industry. This role is ideal for an Engineering Manager with a strong background in engineering and customer support, who is looking to contribute to a reputable and dynamic company. There will be occasional travel to customer sites with an occasional overnight stay.
The company supply high speed machine tools to a wide variety of precision engineering companies with the Aerospace, Automotive, Power generation, Oil and gas and Motorsport sectors. They give excellent training to their customers and to internal staff.
Responsibilities:
The job will involve supporting machine tool sales, warranties, the technical helpdesk, supporting service engineers with onsite customer issues, supporting their regional team leaders, supporting customers with service issues giving diagnosis and root cause analysis, and the motivation and mentoring of the service team. Candidates will need to have a good commercial awareness with good negotiation skills.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in managing a team of service engineers and technical support staff.
* Strong commercial acumen with effective customer service and negotiation skills.
* Engineering Management experience is essential, with a preference for candidates with machine tool knowledge.
* Engineering degree preferred but not essential.
* UK driving license required.
Obviously, Health and Safety is paramount. IOSHH or equivalent certification would be an advantage.
Candidates need to be IT literate.
