Maths Teacher – Secondary School (Stockport) – Full Time – Starting September

Forever Teaching is proud to partner with a fantastic secondary school based in Stockport, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team from September. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to teach up to GCSE level in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4. You will have the chance to inspire young minds, fostering a love of mathematics while ensuring students develop the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their GCSEs.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.

Ensure that all students are engaged and challenged in their learning.

*

Support students' progress through regular assessments and feedback.

*

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

*

Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop teaching strategies and resources.

*

Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and staff development programs.

Requirements:

*

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.

*

Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum, up to GCSE level.

*

Passion for teaching and helping students achieve their full potential.

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

*

Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.

*

Previous experience teaching secondary school Maths is desirable but not essential.
