Now let us tell you about the role

As a Credit Controller, your primary responsibility is to ensure the timely collection of cash while minimising bad debts. This role requires collaborative efforts, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service and meet targets.

This opportunity does offer flexibility, so you'll be able to work on a hybrid basis - you can expect to be in the office a couple of days a week, and the rest of the time you'll able to work from home.

Responsibilities:

* Liaising with customers via telephone and email to chase overdue debt

* Post and allocate customer payments received in the bank and via credit card

* Maintain the customer base, including credit checks, references and new accounts

* Set up and maintain direct debit payment schedule Responding to relevant customer enquiries

* Maintain debtor days within the company target Adhoc duties within the accounts department where necessary

About you:

* Experience in a credit control team

* Experience managing high volume of transactions

* Organised and able to prioritise customer service

* Experience with statement reconciliations and transactions

* End to end knowledge of the credit control process

* Previous experience working with SAGE CRM, AMCS, or Credit Hound would be an advantage.
