Adecco Specialist Markets are currently recruiting an Enterprise Risk Specialist to undertake an initial 12 month contract starting asap (Predominantly remote/Inside IR35). Our client, a leading organisation in the energy sector, is seeking a self-driven individual to join their Enterprise Risk team. As an Enterprise Risk Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation's risk management and control activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert advice and guidance to enable the business to conduct risk management processes, including risk identification, assessment, management, and monitoring.
Facilitate workshops with executives and senior leaders to drive risk awareness and control implementation.
Collaborate with fellow Risk Business Partners to deliver risk workshops and enhance insights and data provision.
Assist in delivering periodic and time-sensitive risk reporting to key stakeholders.
Support the development and documentation of key controls for Principal Risks.
Help in the identification of representative child risk landscapes for Principal Risks.
Support formal reporting to the Executive Team, Audit and Risk committee, and occasionally to the Board.
Guide and assist managers across the organisation in ensuring the right quality of risk and control information is available.
Contribute to building a strong risk assurance culture and stakeholder relationships within the organisation.Skills and Experience:

An understanding of the energy sector, including its structure, regulatory environment, and industry-related issues would be highly desirable
Extensive experience and knowledge of risk management, including tools, processes, and systems.
Strong business change experience, including effective communications, business engagement, and stakeholder management.
Working knowledge of ServiceNow would also be desirable.
