Shift Pattern:
* Monday-Friday, 8 Hour Shifts.
* 3-Shift System (Early, Back & Night).
The Job You’ll Do;
* Attend and resolve equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
* Follow and improve preventative maintenance plans with the aim of reducing unplanned down time.
* Ensure the annual PPM schedule is adhered to and completed as required.
* Ensure that planned maintenance follow up work is recorded and carried out in a timely manner.
* Support root cause investigations for repetitive breakdowns and to implement permanent solutions.
* Be involved in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement activities.
* Assist with relevant project work where engineering involvement is required.
* Ensure line efficiency is improved through timely repair, maintenance and improvement of equipment.
* Ensure quality is improved and spoilage is reduced through timely repair, maintenance and improvement of equipment.
About You;
* Recognised electrical engineering qualification, four-year electrical apprenticeship, with a minimum of City & Guilds part 2 / NVQ level three qualifications.
* City & Guilds 18th Edition.
* Proven experience working in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
* Have the skills to maintain and fault find on electrical and automated systems.
* Strong methodical approach to problem solving.
* Experience with PLCs
