About the Role: Deputy Manager - Care
As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure residents receive the highest standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing care plans and ensuring regular updates.
* Managing medication processes, including audits and stock control.
* Supporting and motivating the care team to deliver exceptional service.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Requirements:
* Relevant qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ Level 3).
* A minimum of three years’ experience in a residential/nursing home setting, including dementia care.
* Knowledge of person-centred care and safeguarding principles.
* Ability to work under pressure with excellent time management and communication skills.
* Residence within 30 minutes of the home.
Preferred Requirements:
* NVQ Level 4 or higher in Adult Health and Social Care.
* Experience supervising teams in a similar role.
