This role will see you lead and contribute to diverse projects within water, wastewater, and civil engineering, from sustainable drainage systems to pumping station design. Main Duties
Project Leadership: Oversee water infrastructure projects from feasibility through to construction completion.
Design & Analysis: Develop and review technical drawings, design plans, and specifications for water-related projects.
Technical Expertise: Provide insights and solutions in areas like SuDS, drainage network design, and nutrient neutrality.
Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while maintaining high-quality project outcomes.
Project Management: Control project timelines, budgets, and resources for successful project delivery.
Team Collaboration: Work alongside interdisciplinary teams, integrating solutions within wider project frameworks.
Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong client relationships, delivering solutions that exceed client expectations.
Mentorship: Guide junior engineers to support their professional growth and development.
Candidate Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering, ideally chartered or progressing toward chartership.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in design projects within the water or wastewater sectors.
Familiarity with SuDS, wastewater network design, and pumping station design.
Strong project management abilities, including scope definition, budget management, and timeline adherence.
Proficient in draughting, modelling, and working within a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
