Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join our team in Taunton. This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on a range of HGVs.
Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of fleet vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Perform on-site and roadside repairs, ensuring minimal vehicle downtime.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately troubleshoot issues.
Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards.
Provide professional and efficient customer service, representing the company positively in all interactions.What We Offer:

NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs (or equivalent).
Proven experience as an HGV Technician, ideally in a mobile role.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Valid HGV license (preferred but not essential).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
