Job Title: Project Manager (Power / Multi Utility)

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

Salary: Circa £55k

Summary:

Our partner, a reputable privately owned civil engineering and multi-utility company, is seeking a Project Manager with experience in the power industry to oversee multi-utility projects.

The successful candidate will lead the delivery of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards.

This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge in power utilities, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of power-related projects, from planning to execution and completion.

Lead project teams and coordinate with internal departments, external contractors, and stakeholders.

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.

Manage project budgets and ensure cost control measures are adhered to.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Risk identification and mitigation to prevent project delays.

Ensure quality control and adherence to regulatory and client standards.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years as a Project Manager in the power, utilities, or related industries.

Proven experience in the power sector, specifically in LV services.

Strong knowledge of power distribution systems and multi-utility services.

Experience in managing projects within strict timeframes and budgets.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
