Principal People are delighted to be recruiting for an Environmental and Sustainability Manager to join a renowned facilities management organisation on one of their high profile government contracts.

This role will require travel predominantly across the Midlands and North UK and there will be a requirement for occasional overnight stays.

This requirement will be for a 12 month fixed term contract and is to pay the successful candidate a salary of £60-65k + Car + Package.

As the Environmental and Sustainability Manager you will be responsible for undertaking both operational and strategic site inspections, preparing for accreditation audits, responsibilities across a multisite portfolio including, reviewing of risk assessments and method statements, environmental / sustainability action plans, liaison with site and regional management, waste management, pollution control, biodiversity improvement amongst other related duties.

The Environmental and Sustainability Manager will hold:

IEMA membership / Environmental based Degree or equivalent
Have experience working within FM / Construction / Maintenance / Hard Services or transferable sectors
Happy to work both an operational and strategic based role and happy to travel across Midlands / North with occasional overnight stays
Willingness to undertake and pass security / DBS check
