I am currently working with one of the fastest growing defence companies in the UK to help them find a Senior Safety Engineer to join their Mission Systems team.

Conducting safety analysis on company-designed mission support systems, including mission planning systems and tablet-based obstacle warning, navigation and EFB products.
Producing System Hazard Analysis Reports & System Safety Assessment Reports.
Maintaining System Hazard Log & Supporting the on-going maintenance, control and configuration management of all documentation and records relating to Mission Systems' Safety Management SystemSkills & Experience:

A minimum of 4 years of Safety Engineering experience
Experience in software & safety related standards including Def Stan 0056, DO178c, DO254
Experience of working with common safety engineering tools and techniques
Experience of system hazard log development and management.
All candidates must be able to obtain SC clearance
