We are recruiting a passionate Community Engagement Lead for a new position based in Leeds. This role involves empowering customers’ voices to influence the design and delivery of services, creating positive change in the communities where the organisation operates.
Role Responsibilities:
* Engage with customers and communities to understand their needs and ensure their feedback is embedded in service delivery.
* Design and implement innovative approaches to gather and act on customer feedback, ensuring it drives decision-making and service improvements.
* Develop targeted engagement strategies to involve under-represented groups and ensure all voices are heard.
* Analyse customer feedback and present insights to inform strategic decisions and improvements.
* Foster strong community networks and work with partners to deliver impactful projects and initiatives that benefit customers and communities.
Person Specification:
* Passionate about empowering customers and driving change within communities.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and engage diverse audiences.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders, and community groups to achieve positive outcomes.
* Experience in community engagement, with a focus on inclusivity and customer participation.
* Ability to analyse customer feedback and transform it into actionable insights.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements for customer involvement and service co-creation.
* Proficiency with Microsoft IT packages (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the willingness to learn new tools to enhance customer engagement.

This permanent position offers a starting salary of £35,000, with the flexibility of hybrid working across Leeds. The office is centrally located with excellent transport links and parking.
